As a solo singer, CHRISYE had began his music career with the beautiful starting through his first big single LILIN LILIN KECIL. And after that, most of his albums had reach succeed in the market. PANTULAN CITA was his fourth album in Musica, as well as the record holder for "the most do not sell” album. Indeed, unlike the album SABDA ALAM, PERCIK PESONA or PUSPA INDAH, on this album JOCKIE SURYOPRAYOGO as the music director had bring more rock elements to Chrisye’s soft voice. Jockie reasoned that the soft voice will sound more alive if accompanied by loud music, like the term 'silk on a top of rock'. Actually this album was quite fun, songs like KENCANA sounded different but unique. Unfortunately, the song like that is hard earned for the market. No hits are generated from this album.
